Abstract:

The IMPROVE TOR analysis method was used for experimental study on the carbon compounds of particle emissions from a turbocharged direct injection diesel engine under different fuel injection strategy and EGR rate. The results show that the delay of fuel injection, increasing of injection pressure and EGR rate result in an equivalence ratio increase, leading to high TC emissions, but cause a decrease in LowTempEC/HighTempEC ratio and OC/EC ratio. The volatile OC fraction is the highest in OC; HighTemp-EC is absence at low load but is abundant at high load.
