Abstract: This paper presented a new test method of P-Q curve for electrohydraulic proportional pump due to the existence of measuring error of flow and pressure vibration. Both simulation and experiment show there exist obvious test error and vibration in the PQ curve obtained from the test loading in the openloop way, and a new test method loading in the closedloop way was proposed. As the test system has different requirements for loading when the pump comes to different working phases, an adaptive controller that can adjust control parameters and choose control signals automatically was established, which controls the pressure by PI controller and diminishes the vibration by PD controller. Both simulated and experimental results show that the new proposed test method does well in diminishing the pressure vibration and measuring error of flow, and makes effective progress in the test of PQ curve for electrohydraulic proportional pump.
