Theme: Intelligent Robots
Intelligent Robot is an interdisciplinary research field including mechanical system, electronic system, robotics, artificial intelligence, automation and control, etc. It is a key product to enhance industrial efficiency and safety, also a promising technology to serve human society in the future.
Aiming at reporting leading research results and discussing future development of intelligent robot, in Year 2025, Journal of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Science) (CN 31-1943/U, ISSN1007-1172) plans to publish a Special Issue on Intelligent Robots (EI-indexed, regular paper). The goal of this special issue is (i) to provide a broad perspective of intelligent robots; (ii) to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration in this emerging research field; and (iii) to report state-of-the-art development of intelligent robots’ technologies and their applications in real world.
This special issue is open to researchers, engineers, and students focusing on intelligent robot and its related fields worldwide. The authors are welcome to publish original research papers describing system applications, configuration design, algorithm development, or others including but not limited to:
(i) Scenario. Medical robot, service robot, mobile robot, aerial robot, underwater robot, etc.
(ii) Configuration. Humanoid robot, wheeled robot, multi-legged robot, continuum robot, etc. (iii) Module. Perception, localization, decision-making, planning, control, etc.
(iv) Algorithm. Embodied AI, artificial intelligence, spatial perception, cooperation, etc.
(v) Component. Dexterous hands, wheeled-legs, sensors, controllers, actuators, etc.
Mainly focus on Scientific and Survey Papers: Each article is required to have a normal length of 5000–7000 words. Only English article submission is acceptable.

智能机器人专辑征稿启事
征稿方向:智能机器人
智能机器人是学科交叉的典型应用,整合了机械工程、电子信息、机器人学、人工智能、自动控制等多个不同领域学科,是提升工业生产效率与安全的核心部件,也是服务人类日常生活的未来技术。
为集中反映该领域的最新科研成果,探讨智能机器人的前沿发展,《Journal of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Science)》(CN 31-1943/U, ISSN1007-1172) 拟于2025年出版“智能机器人”专辑(英文EI,正刊)。该专辑的征稿目的在于为拓宽智能机器人领域的学术视野,加强相关领域的多学科交叉合作研究,同时也为大家提供一个展示最新学术成果的平台。
欢迎国内外从事智能机器人及相关领域研究、开发与应用的科技工作者、教师和青年学生围绕:(1)机器人在医疗、服务、移动、飞行、水下等应用场景(2)人形、轮式、多足、连续体等构型(3)感知、定位、决策、规划、控制等模块(4)具身智能、人工智能、空间感知、协作控制等算法(5)灵巧手、轮腿、传感器、控制器、执行器等零部件,以及与智能机器人相关方向的主题积极投稿。
稿件类型以科研或综述论文为主,5000-7000单词,仅接受英文投稿。
