Abstract: Global climate change has led to a large amount of oxygen loss in regional and global ocean. Deoxygenation can result in biological migration and death by affecting morphology, metabolism, adaptability, etc. In addition, deoxygenation can also damage the stability of ecosystem by changing community quantity, composition, and distribution. Understanding the response of regional and global biomass and biodiversity to ocean deoxygenation can provide a theoretical basis for a sustainable management of marine ecosystem.

Key words: ocean deoxygenation; biomass; biodiversity; climate change
