Abstract: The conditions of multiple state-delays and actuator failures weren’t simultaneously considered in former research. The continuous system with multiple state-delays was researched. The sufficient condition that this class of system is asymptotically stable and extendedly strictly positive real was deduced by theoretical analysis. On the basis of it, this class of system with uncertainties and actuator failures was researched, and a positive real controller was designed. It ensured that the close-loop system is asymptotically stable and extendedly strictly positive real against facultative uncertainties and actuator failures. Simultaneity, an example was analyzed to show that the proposed design approach of positive real controller is feasible and effective.
