迷宫式密封活塞对GM制冷机性能的影响

Effect of the Performance of the G-M Cryocooler with Labyrinth Sealing Displacer

摘要: 为了提高10 K温区双级GM制冷机的性能及运行稳定性,设计了一套迷宫式密封活塞,其中活塞和汽缸均采用不锈钢材料,以保证低温下两者具有相同的收缩率.通过实验,对比分析了传统活塞环密封与迷宫式活塞密封对制冷机性能,以及活塞材料和充气压力对迷宫式活塞密封性能的影响.结果表明:当采用不锈钢材料的迷宫式活塞时,其在低温下的密封性能更佳,有利于提高制冷机的制冷量;系统的充气压力对密封性能影响较小,但较高的充气压力可以获得更大的制冷量.

Abstract: The labyrinth sealing displacer was designed to improve the operating stability and cooling performance of the 10 K Gifford-McMahon (G-M) cryocoolers. The effects of the traditional piston-ring sealing and the labyrinth sealing on the cooling performance were experimentally compared. The effects of the displacer materials and charge pressures on the sealing performance were also tested. The displacer made of stainless steel has the same shrinkage as the piston cylinder at low temperatures and its sealing performance is superior to the displacer made of fiber-glass. The charge pressure has no obvious effect on the sealing performance, but the larger cooling capacity can be achieved at higher charge pressure.
