Abstract

Temperature is one of the most important environmental cues regulating plant growth and development. This paper highlights recent achievements in understanding temperature-sensing in plants. Of particular, recent studies identified several novel thermosensors in plants, which shed lights on the fundamental mechanisms underlying how plants sense and adapt to a variable temperature environment.
