Abstract  Since the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 2023, the “Asymmetric” airstrike weapons represented by rockets and drones have become an important means for Hamas to “resist the strong with the weak”, inflicting more pressure on Israel. At the same time, the Israeli defense system successfully fought against various and multiple “asymmetric” threats in this conflict, demonstrating higher actual combat ability. In this study, the characteristics of “asymmetric” airstrike weapons and features of airstrike operations by Hamas and other “Axis of Resistance” armed forces in this conflict were reviewed and analyzed. Besides, the Israeli defense weapons and features of the “asymmetric” defense system in this conflict were summarized according to public information, thus giving a reference for future military equipment development.
