摘要

介绍了淀粉样变性、朊蛋白和阿尔茨海默病的Aβ和tau蛋白.指出Aβ级联假说或tau蛋白假说反映的是一个硬币的两面,揭示的是淀粉样变性共性中阿尔茨海默病的特性,其寡聚体结构的解析具有重要的学术和应用意义.

Abstract

This paper introduces amyloidosis, prion, and Aβ/tau proteins in Alzheimer’s disease. It points out that the amyloid hypothesis and the tau hypothesis are two sides of a coin, which reflect the specialty of Alzheimer’s disease among common features of amyloidosis. The elucidations of oligomer structures in Aβ peptide and tau protein have significances in understanding amyloidosis and fighting against Alzheimer’s disease or general amyloidosis.
