Estimation of Performance Benchmark for a Class of Nonlinear Control Systems

摘要: 针对控制回路中同时存在控制阀摩擦和保护阀切换作用的非线性问题,提出了基于阈值含输入非线性自回归(TNARX)模型的控制性能基准估计方法.将系统的输入输出测量数据根据阈值划分后,在不同的局部数据空间上建立NARX模型,这些局部模型的组合用来描述整个非线性系统.利用合并方差准则组合这些局部模型的预测误差方差,从而估计出整个非线性系统的控制性能基准.通过与多项式自回归(PAR)模型、含输入的多项式自回归(PARX)模型和自激励阈值自回归(SETAR)模型的比较,表明TNARX模型可以得到较好的估计结果.仿真分析验证了该方法的有效性.

Abstract:  An estimation problem of the performance benchmark is considered when the control loop is intervened by the complex nonlinearity. The nonlinearity includes control valve stiction and switching action of the protection valve. The proposed method is based on the threshold nonlinear autoregressive exogenous (TNARX) model. The input and output routine operating data are partitioned if they reaches the certain thresholds. Modeling each partitioned regime as a NARX model, then the prediction error variance as the performance benchmark can be obtained by the principle of pooled variance. By comparison with polynomial autoregressive, polynomial autoregressive exogenous and selfexciting threshold autoregressive models, a simulation example shows the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed method.
