Practical Teaching Reform for Heat Transfer

Abstract  

The new experiment teaching mode for “Heat Transfer” is one of reform achievements in our college, by taking America as lessons. With the goal of cultivating innovative talents, we put a high value on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality and innovative ability. Instead of traditional experiment teaching mode, we focus on students. Firstly, students have some comprehensive experiments, in which, they could master the professional knowledge better and enhance the ability of practice; Secondly, students are trained to solve practice problems by having projects, in which, they could enhance the professional skills, exploration ability, innovation capability and cooperation ability. Basic platform construction and learning factory construction are solid foundations of the practical teaching reform. It has been proved that this open research learning is effective to enhance the students’ comprehensive quality and professional abilities.
